Acton Scores 80 yard Snipe As The Greyhounds Go On To Win ECAC Championship

DENVER – Loyola University Maryland used an 8-1 run that spanned three quarters to take control of the ECAC Championship Game, and the third-ranked Greyhounds defeated No. 16 Fairfield University, 14-7, to claim the league crown at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Ratliff Scores OT Winner To Lift Men’s Lacrosse To ECAC Title Game

DENVER – Scott Ratliff picked up the ground ball off the opening faceoff in overtime, raced down the right side of the middle of the box and sent a high-to-low shot past University of Denver goalkeeper Ryan LaPlante to lift the third-ranked Greyhounds to a 14-13 win in the ECAC Semifinals on Wednesday night. Loyola University Maryland Men’s Lacrosse Races Past Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Mike Sawyer had career-high seven points, scoring five goals along with two assists as the Loyola University Maryland men’s lacrosse team took down future ECAC foe Michigan, 15-8, on Wednesday night at Oosterbaan Field House in Ann Arbor, Mich. Sawyer helped the Greyhounds (4-0, 1-0 ECAC) become the first Loyola team since 2001 to score 10 or more goals in four-straight games, while also giving the team its first 4-0 start since 2002. Flashback: Grip ‘N Rip With Cornell’s Max Feely



When we did a Grip ‘N Rip on Max Feely back in February we knew he was a special player, but had no idea he’d end up scoring the game winning goal this past weekend to keep Cornell alive in the NCAA tourney.
