MILWAUKEE – Marquette University head men’s lacrosse coach, Joe Amplo, has announced the addition of volunteer assistant coach Scott Rodgers to his coaching staff. Rodgers, who will primarily be working with Marquette’s goalies as well as helping out with the team’s strength and conditioning, played his collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame and is currently a member of the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse and the Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. Marquette's Official Release on Hiring of Lacrosse Coaches Amplo, Simon Black



MILWAUKEE — Marquette University has announced the hiring of Joe Amplo and Meredith Simon Black as the first head coaches in Marquette men’s and women’s lacrosse program history. Both will spend the 2011 season at their current institutions of Hofstra University and the University of California-Berkeley, respectively, and join Marquette with almost two years to assemble a coaching staff and build their rosters.
