The Stanford Cardinal and the Sonoma State Seawolves met in the WCLL Championship lacrosse game in Novato. Sonoma led 4-2 in the second quarter and 6-4 at the end of the third quarter, but Stanford launched a comeback and outscored Sonoma 4-1 in the fourth to upset Sonoma 8-7 to win the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League championship for the first time since 1982.
