We came. We saw. We conquered. Napoleon said it once. The Texas Longhorns Men’s D1 (Club) Lacrosse team said it again. This past weekend in New Orleans, after dedicating weeks of sweat, blood, and tears to preparing for the first big weekend of the year, the Horns took down two of the finest D1 (Club) teams in all the land. Oregon Men’s Lacrosse went 12 and 3 in the season and made their third straight appearance in the MCLA Nationals under coach Joe Kerwin, who stepped down after the season. LOS ANGELES – Dec 21, 2012 – For the second year in a row the Loyola Marymount University Men’s Lacrosse team has been named the District 10 Ace Adams Award winner. Each year, District 10 (California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii) Collegiate Officials Committee votes on the school whose coaches, players, fans, and administrators demonstrate the best sportsmanship and respect for the game of lacrosse. Los Angeles – The Bruins open the 2013 season at home February 9th against the University of San Diego before hosting the PAC-12 Shootout the following weekend with match-ups against Arizona and Washington State. Brookline, MA- The Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse team will be hosting the 2nd Annual Boston Autumn Classic this Saturday November 17th at Parsons Field in Brookline, MA. Over the weekend, the BC Men’s Lacrosse team and coaching staff went down to Fairfield, CT, to help out a teammate whose house was completely underwater after Hurricane Sandy. They took out the entire first floor of both his house and several of his neighbors, as well as cleaned up all kinds of trees that were down across the neighborhood.
