CSU Rams Release 2013 Spring Schedule



Fort Collins, CO – Coming off their first MCLA national championship since 2006, the Colorado State Rams have announced an ambitious and challenging schedule for the 2013 campaign. In addition to featuring eight teams ranked in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse MCLA Coaches’ poll at the conclusion of last season and seven teams who competed at the MCLA national championships in May, the schedule will include seven grueling back-to-backs on either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday throughout the year. Colorado State To Take Part In Pumpkin Shootout 10/27



Fort Collins, CO – The Colorado State University Rams men’s lacrosse team will conclude its fall schedule on Saturday, October 27 with a three-game play day at the Pumpkin Shootout at the Manning School in Golden, CO. The Rams, who have previously held their alumni game and a scrimmage with the University of Northern Colorado, will face-off against three in-state rivals in the third installment of the Shootout, which coincides with a large high school and youth tournament run by the Colorado Lacrosse Academy. Coast Guard Academy Lacrosse Bids Farewell To Head Coach Brian Krautler

The cadets of the Coast Guard Academy Men’s Lacrosse team got a life-lesson in honoring duty this week when they found out that Head Coach Brian Krautler (also an active duty Lieutenant Commander in the Coast Guard) had received unexpected and last minute orders assigning him as the new Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter HICKORY, a 225-foot sea-going buoy tender out of Homer, Alaska.
