RICHMOND, Va. (June 18, 2013) – The Colonial Athletic Association announced on Tuesday that the Fairfield University men’s lacrosse program will join the CAA as an associate member. DENVER – The University of Denver men’s lacrosse team will move to the BIG EAST Conference for immediate competition for the 2014 season, it was announced today. The 2013 NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championship takes place this weekend at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. and Mike Powell, four-time NCAA First Team All-American, will be on-site to meet fans at the Capital One Cup Fan Zone. Former Rams Pete Mottram (1996), Pat Coy (2001), Ryan Davis (2002), and Nick Stanitz-Harper (2005) have been inducted into this year’s class by the CSULAA Hall of Fame committee and will be honored on April 20 at halftime of the Rocky Mountain Lacorsse Showdown between Colorado State University and the University of Colorado.
