UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond Spiders head men’s lacrosse coach Dan Chemotti announced his spring recruiting class on Tuesday. ACC Announces 2013 Men’s Lacrosse Individual Award Recipients



GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference has honored four individuals as recipients of the 2013 ACC Men’s Lacrosse annual awards, announced Tuesday as voted on by the league’s four head coaches. North Carolina’s Marcus Holman was named the Offensive Player of the Year, and Duke’s Brendan Fowler garnered Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Pat Ivory ’08 Returns to Saint Michael’s as Interim Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach



COLCHESTER, Vt. – Saint Michael’s College has hired Pat Ivory ’08 as the interim head coach of its men’s lacrosse team. A former four-year player and three-year assistant coach at the College, Ivory succeeds Brian Kingsbury, who left earlier this month to take the head coach position at Lynn (Fla.) University. In his three seasons as an assistant at Saint Michael’s, between 2009 and 2011, Ivory helped lead the Purple Knights to a 23-20 record, including a 10-6 campaign in 2011, during which the team reached the Northeast-10 Conference Championship semifinals and was 8-2 in league play. Nicky Galasso, Brendan Conroy Join SU Men’s Lacrosse Team



SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Attackman Nicky Galasso (West Islip, N.Y.) and midfielder Brendan Conroy (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) have joined the Orange men’s lacrosse team for the 2013 season, SU head coach John Desko announced Tuesday, Jan. 8. Galasso, a junior, transferred to Syracuse from North Carolina and has two years of eligibility remaining. Conroy played scholastically at St. Anthony’s High School on Long Island. PAC to Introduce Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse



GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Presidents’ Council and Commissioner Joe Onderko are pleased to announce that the sports of men’s and women’s lacrosse will be added as official PAC sports, beginning with the 2014-15 academic year. The addition of men’s and women’s lacrosse increases the number of PAC sponsored sports to 21. The additions were adopted by the PAC Presidents’ Council at their December 5 meeting. Read More…

Georgetown Men’s Lacrosse Releases 2013 Schedule



WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men’s lacrosse Head Coach Kevin Warne has announced the team’s 14-game schedule for the 2013 season, his first on the Hilltop. The Hoyas open the season on Saturday, February 16 when the Hoyas host Lafayette College at Multi-Sport Field with a noon face-off scheduled. The opener will be one of seven home games scheduled for the season. The Hoyas will play eight non-conference games, including reigning National Champion Loyola (Md.) and Final Four team Duke (March 23). Read More…
