BALTIMORE, Nov. 18, 2013 — US Lacrosse today announced the 2014 men’s post-collegiate rules for players ranging from recently graduated college players through age 45-and-older. The US Lacrosse Men’s Game Committee and US Lacrosse Board of Directors approved the rules, which are the result of modifications to the current NCAA men’s rules that focus primarily on age-appropriate checking and body contact. NACDA stands for National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, and once a year these athletic directors get together and rank NCAA colleges and universities by success in collegiate athletics. Points for the Directors’ Cup are based on order of finish in different NCAA championships or media-based polls.
