By Lacrosse Playground | March 25, 2013 |
After the win over Michigan at Citi Field in front of many of our friends, family, and alumni, we were forced turn our attention to a Saturday showdown against The Naval Academy at M&T Bank Stadium as part of the Konica Minolta Faceoff Classic. Aside from the fact that Navy is a Patriot League opponent, which puts great importance on the game, the Midshipmen handed us our only regular season Patriot League loss last season, and pay back was in order. The Navy SEALs Want Lacrosse Athletes and Then Some

By Lacrosse Playground | August 7, 2012 |
The United States Navy's Sea, Air, and Land Teams are comprised of athletes who are a part of the special operations force, Naval Special Warfare Command, and SOCOM. In other words, they are badass mofos who can squash your head with their pinky. Yet, it seems like they have a shortage of recruits, so they want more lacrosse players to inquire within. The following video features a number of SEALs who were college lacrosse players. Other videos feature wrestlers, swimmers, and even motocross athletes. Read More...

Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse 2012 Player Blog: #Good2Great

By Lacrosse Playground | April 6, 2012 |
On Thursday night of last week, our travel squad hit the road for Annapolis, with a tough Navy team waiting for us on the other side. We got into our hotel pretty late, so there wasn’t much to do other than go to sleep and rest up for the following day. Reminiscent of my prep school days, Coach Wilson came around and checked everyone in…one of his many versatile roles as an assistant coach. Read More...

Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse 2012 Player Blog: Poison Ivy On His Upper Thighs

By Lacrosse Playground | March 30, 2012 |
To all my loyal readers out there, I apologize in advance if this isn’t my most in-depth post of the year. Since I’m sure no one out there wants to read about what I’ve learned in Corporate Finance, I’ll try my best to fill everyone in on what’s been happening on the field. Read More...
