Coach Lars Tiffany has made it clear his team is going to do everything possible to make a statement in the upcoming 2012 season. He's reached out to Navy SEALS and now the US Marines. Earlier this Fall, the team completed The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge. On Friday, the Brown Men's Lacrosse team finished their Fall conditioning with the help of the Marines. This morning the Today Show aired a special look into recruiting methods for Navy Seals. Recruits with backgrounds in nontraditional sports like lacrosse, rugby and water polo are not only more likely to become a seal, but also excel at a very high level. According to Captain Adam Curtis, "People who play those sports have a real training hardness factor." Listen in for the remarks on lacrosse players at the 1:30 mark.
