Syracuse Makes Deal to Leave Big East Early to Join ACC

USA Today's Erick Smith first reported that Syracuse University will be leaving the Big East Conference in order to join the Atlantic Coast Conference. The school reached a deal with the Big East, which has waived a 27 month exit window so the school can join the ACC July 1 of next year. However, the school will have to divvy out more than $7 million dollars to the league as part of the agreement. Read More...

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team tied for the nation’s biggest improvement in 2012, according to LaxPower’s computer rankings which were released on Wednesday. The Mountain Hawks tied UMass at plus 23 when comparing the final power rankings of 2011 to 2012. The computer ratings taking into account many of the factors used by the NCAA Tournament selection committee, including strength of schedule, RPI, quality wins and more. Read More...

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Barely 24 hours after going on sale, Sunday’s Lehigh-Maryland NCAA First Round Game sold out Tuesday morning. Capacity for the Ulrich Sports Complex is 2,000 fans (both seating and standing room).
