Hart Nets Walk-Off Game-Winner with One Second Remaining in Regulation to Shock Penn, 8-7

After a Quaker timeout with 29 seconds remaining in regulation and the game tied at 7-7, Penn’s Rob Fitzpatrick weaved his way through the Villanova defense, taking the probable last shot of regulation. But a point-blank save from senior goalkeeper Dan Gutierrez (Chevy Chase, Md.) gave the Wildcats possession with 11 seconds remaining in the game. Mountain Hawks dominant in 10-4 win at #19/18 Penn

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team used a dominant overall effort to pull off an impressive 10-4 win over #19/18 Penn Tuesday night. The Mountain Hawks’ (3-1) defense extended its shutout streak to 90:14 and forced 16 of the Quakers’ (0-2) 18 turnovers. Penn’s Rob Fitzpatrick Lights Up Duke and More



By now, you should know about the biggest upset of the 2011 season – UPenn > Duke. Penn’s efforts were accomplished using team fundamentals. Those fundamentals included an unassisted behind-the-back goal by Penn’s sophomore attackman Rob Fitzpatrick. New Balance H710 Ivy League Collection



New Balance offers a peek into its upcoming Ivy League Collection for Spring 2011. The collection will include mid and low top versions of its H710 hiker. The shoes are inspired by the Ivy League schools, which obviously include Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale. They’ve taken a classic approach with an “outdoors” feel. They feature buttery suede uppers with special laurel wreath tongue branding to mimic the schools’ crests.
