New Balance H710 Ivy League Collection



New Balance offers a peek into its upcoming Ivy League Collection for Spring 2011. The collection will include mid and low top versions of its H710 hiker. The shoes are inspired by the Ivy League schools, which obviously include Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale. They’ve taken a classic approach with an “outdoors” feel. They feature buttery suede uppers with special laurel wreath tongue branding to mimic the schools’ crests. Eight new players and coaches joined the ranks of lacrosse immortality Oct. 30, when Scott Bacigalupo, Michael Burnett, Mac Ford, Eleanor Keady Gaffney, Francesca Den Hartog, Jack Kaley, Bonnie Rosen and Mary McCarthy Stefano were inducted as the 53rd class into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Notre Dame Adidas Turf Shoes



Today, Notre Dame beat Princeton 8-5 to advance to the Quarterfinals next week. Many people may credit Scotty Rodgers with stonewalling the tigers, but others may say the turf shoes may have played a role in the victory.
