Lacrosse Playground

The recent growth of lacrosse in the West has been remarkable. It is the result of the tireless effort and dedication of many of the game’s great players, coaches and protagonists. Michael Watson is one of them. Watson, former UVA 4-time All American and current LXM player, founded the Lax West Elite team in Southern California. We were able to get a hold of their uniforms.

Later today (actually, in an hour) the men’s action at the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic kicks off in Ocean City, MD. Team Lacrosse Playground is up early for our 8 a.m. game, but we also have an exclusive look at Team Stickhead/Pro Athletics uniforms below. The team created a shooter shirt/reversible/short combo for the tournament.

Champ Camp is one of the nation’s most well-known recruiting camps. The camp was held two weekends ago in Baltimore, but today we are bringing you some of the official apparel from the event, including the official Champ Camp jacket and shorts, created by Pro Athletics.

The much awaited shorts by LAS are finally here and they are stellar. ProAthletics helped put them together and emblazoned the bottom of the shorts with the LAS logo and the words, “By players for players,” swooping across the right leg. Read More…

Because there are no rules or regulations regarding patterns or colors, tournament lacrosse teams often have the greatest flexibility when it comes to their jersey designs. Hopkins grad Michael Doneger blogged from South Beach about his experience in the Bump & Grind tournament last weekend, specifically taking a look at the uniforms of the tourney-winning Pro Athletics team.

PRO Athletics has released the new Phantom Hood, a customizable hoodie that can include some pretty big graphics. They even did a mock-up of a LacrossePlayground.com hoodie that you can see after the jump.
