Hardshells Raise $6,000 To Fight Pancreatic Cancer

University of Maryland men’s lacrosse student-athletes, coaches, alumni and friends of the program gathered for the 4th Annual Forever Young Walk/Run for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness on October 25. The Forever Young Walk/Run is held in memory of Maria Young, mother of former Terrapin All-American Ryan Young, who battled pancreatic cancer for more than three years before succumbing to the disease on April 17, 2011. STX Signs MLL Star Ryan Young

Baltimore, MD – Baltimore-based STX, LLC, a global sporting goods leader, today announced the signing of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) player Ryan Young for the 2014 season. As part of his role with STX, Young will serve as an official STX-sponsored athlete and will appear in the company’s marketing and product campaigns.
