The Minnesota Swarm (1-1) defeated the Buffalo Bandits (2-2) 19-11 on Treasure Island Field in front of 8,232 fans during its home opener at Xcel Energy Center. Scoring 19 times, the Swarm tied a franchise-high in goals that was set in 2007 in Chicago. SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Swarm today unveiled its new home jerseys for the 2012 season. The Swarm plans on releasing its new road uniforms at a later date. Minnesota's home and away uniforms in 2012 will continue to feature its patented blue and yellow stripe pattern along the sides and in addition now feature a honeycomb design around the shoulder area. This hydro graphic is unique in that the dot pattern gives each head a fresh two-tone look that can’t be replicated through normal dying processes. Minneapolis, MN – June 15, 2010 – The University of Minnesota Men’s Lacrosse Club is proud to announce they have signed Joe Cinosky as their new head coach. Joe is a defenseman for Team USA and will be representing our country this summer at the World Championships in Manchester, England. Zack Greer has become household name in Minnesota playing for the NLL Swarm. He's so well liked that the local news network got him on the ice to play puck with NHL Wild player John Scott. The crazy thing is is that Greer was also a stud in hockey and got drafted by the Ontario Hockey League. On the other hand, John Scott grew up playing lacrosse heavily.

SAINT PAUL, MN – The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm have announced that the team has signed 2009 first round draft pick Zack Greer to a three-year contract. Greer, a 6-2 190 lbs. forward from Bryant University, was the third overall selection in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft. He finished his collegiate playing career as the all-time leading point (353p) and goal scorer (248g) in NCAA Division I history.
