When the Powells step onto a field, everyone hears about it. Days ago, we got word that Casey and Mike Powell would be suiting up for team Burnt Orange at the Lake Placid Lacrosse Classic, so we sent an intern up to New York. When we received pictures back from our minion on the ground, we got a lot more than we had anticipated. Liam Banks launches LB3 St Louis

Atlanta, GA - LB3 Lacrosse has opened operations in St. Louis, Missouri. The expansion will involve new lacrosse opportunities for players in the St Louis area and an LB3 influx of elite coaching into two existing programs. LB3 has taken over operation of St Louis Metro Lacrosse and St Louis Kings Lacrosse. Kings and Metro have been operated by St Louis native Matt Prime, a close friend of LB3 Founder Liam Banks. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Colin Briggs scored three goals and assisted another to help the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers (5-0) top the No. 3 Syracuse Orange (2-1) on Sunday evening, 14-10, in front of 5,855 fans inside Klöckner Stadium. UVa now owns a 15-13 record all-time against the Orange and the four-goal win serves as the largest margin of victory by either team in the series since the Cavaliers won 17-10 in the 2006 NCAA Semifinal round.
