PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two-time defending conference champion Syracuse has been picked to win the 2012 BIG EAST men’s lacrosse league, according to a vote of the league’s seven head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own teams. BALTIMORE – Three former Syracuse University men’s lacrosse standouts have been named to the U.S. senior national team roster for the upcoming 2012 Champion Challenge. Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Commissioner John D. Swofford today confirmed that the ACC has invited Syracuse University to join the conference and that the ACC presidents have voted to officially accept Syracuse as a conference member.
