US Lacrosse Names 2013 Women’s World Cup Roster

BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse today announced the 18-player U.S. Women's National Team that is set to compete in the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup, July 11-20 in Oshawa, Ontario. The U.S. women's national team will look to defend its 2009 gold medal and earn its seventh overall world title. The team was selected from a 25-player U.S. women's national training team roster, which was previously selected from a group of 38 players comprising the 2012-14 U.S. women's national team. Darmouth Men’s Lacrosse Hires Tim McIntee

HANOVER, N.H. — Tim McIntee has been hired as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team, Director of Athletics Harry Sheehy and head coach Andy Towers announced Monday. McIntee spent the last 15 seasons as head coach of the men's lacrosse team at Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y. During his time with Manhattan College, McIntee was at the forefront of the successful turnaround and development of the school's men's lacrosse program. This past weekend, Easton Lacrosse athlete and USA player, Casey Powell, delivered a slick low-to-high shot against Denver's rising star Jamie Faus at the 2012 Champion Challenge. Team USA rode the clear hard, which allowed Kevin Leveille to corral the loose ball and toss it behind-the-back to Matt Bocklet. Bocklet then seals the deal, ultimately, by feeding to Powell.
