GREENSBORO, N.C. – Six 2012 Tewaaraton Trophy nominees highlight this year’s All-ACC Men’s Lacrosse Team as announced today by the league office. The team is determined by a vote of the league’s four head coaches. Maryland leads all conference teams with four players recognized. Junior midfielder Jesse Bernhardt, who is on the Tewaaraton Watch List, is joined by teammates John Haus, Joe Cummings and Niko Amato. Cummings and Amato both repeat as members of the All-ACC Team. WASHINGTON, D.C. The Tewaaraton Foundation has named former Cornell University lacrosse star and National Lacrosse Hall of Famer Eamon McEneaney as the recipient of the second annual Tewaaraton Legends Award. A three-time All-American lacrosse player at Cornell (1975-77), McEneaney led the Big Red to consecutive undefeated seasons and NCAA Division I titles in 1976 and 1977. As a sophomore in 1975, he earned the Turnbull Award as the nation’s best attackman and was named the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Player of the Year. Read More...

We are shocked and saddened with the news that our fellow lacrosse friend, William "Bill" Phillips, died in the tragic plane crash in Alaska on Monday. We are relieved and grateful; however, to learn that his son, Willy, survived the crash. Bill was an active and popular member of The University Club here in DC and a major contributor to the success of the Club's Tewaaraton Award. Warren, MI. (July 6, 2010) – Brine announced today the signing of Ned Crotty to a multi-year endorsement contract. Crotty is the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy winner and member of the NCAA National Champion Duke Blue Devils. He was the 1st overall pick in the MLL Draft and a member of the 2010 USA National Team.
