(Istanbul), Turkey, (February 06, 2013) – Marty Lattman has been instrumental to Turkey Lacrosse in his recent appointment to the role of Managing Director of Coaching, and now he will also assume the role of head coach. Marty is well qualified for the position. He has almost twenty years of experience as a head lacrosse coach at the youth, high school, and college levels. As a Level 2 Certified Coaches Trainer for U.S. Lacrosse, he has conducted more than 50 clinics around the United States over the last 6 years. (February 12, 2013) – Turkey Lacrosse’s latest addition is Gordon Glass, a lifetime sports fanatic and North American lumber expert originally from Quebec. Gordon will be filling the role of Managing Director of Education and Training. At Bishop’s University in Quebec, Gordon lettered in football, hockey, and tennis, and was named male athlete of the year in 1969. Read More…

(January 08, 2013) – Free gear! It’s a phrase that every lacrosse player loves hearing and one that Reebok is helping the folks at Turkey Lacrosse say. Reebok recently agreed to help sponsor Turkey Lacrosse by donating 150 heads as they host the 2013 Turkey Lacrosse Open during September of this year in the southern coastal city of Alanya. In the past few years, Reebok has proven to be successful at locating less well-known sports and helping them reach national prestige, as evidenced by their endorsement of CrossFit, which has evolved from a relatively unheard of sport to a nation-wide phenomenon known as “the Sport of Fitness”. ISTANBUL, TURKEY — The Israel men’s national lacrosse team made their international debut on Friday, topping Turkey, 13-9, at Sadi Gülçelik Sports Center on Friday. Tel Aviv’s Mike Grosz scored the first goal in program history just three minutes into the match, and European official Henning Schmidt reacted by halting play to present the ball to Israel head coach Bill Beroza.
