BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Riding two straight wins, the #15/16 Lehigh men’s lacrosse team looks for its first three-game winning streak of the season when it hosts UMass on Wednesday. Opening faceoff is set for 6 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex and will air live nation-wide on ESPNU and WatchESPN as Warrior’s National Game of the Week. Mike Corey, Quint Kessenich and Paul Carcaterra are on the call. It marks Lehigh’s second ESPN game in the last 11 days (along with Penn State on ESPN3) and first ESPN telecast at home since last year’s NCAA Tournament against Maryland. Read More…

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team tied for the nation’s biggest improvement in 2012, according to LaxPower’s computer rankings which were released on Wednesday. The Mountain Hawks tied UMass at plus 23 when comparing the final power rankings of 2011 to 2012. Now standing in our way is a very strong Duke team. They are solid in every facet of the game, but so are we. The trust and belief in one another on this team rivals any, and we plan to work as hard as ever for this game. It will not be easy, but we understand that. So following the graduation of our senior class in our hotel Saturday night (yes, we’re doing that), the opening face-off will be sometime around 2:30 on Sunday at PPL Park.
