PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania's Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse, Mike Murphy, has announced the hiring of Judd Lattimore to his staff. Lattimore will be the Quakers' top assistant and replaces Jason Archbell, who left the Quakers to become head coach at Bowdoin College. This marks a return to Penn for Lattimore, who was an assistant coach with Penn for the 2006 season under previous head coach Brian Voelker. BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced that Jason Archbell has been named head coach of the men's lacrosse program. Most recently an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Archbell becomes the seventh coach in the history of the Polar Bear men's lacrosse team and just the third since 1970. PHILADELPHIA - A pair of former Penn men's lacrosse players, Al Kohart and Brett Hughes, were selected during the Major League Lacrosse Supplemental Draft which took place Wednesday, Dec. 14. Kohart was a ninth-round pick of the Chesapeake Bayhawks, while Hughes was a 17th-round pick of the Denver Outlaws. Read More...
PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's lacrosse program has announced its 2012 schedule. The Quakers will play 13 games including six at home, and cap the regular season with a game against defending NCAA champion Virginia at Sports Authority Field in Denver, Colo.
