Here's a few Verdict photos that are accompanying a tragic story in the Feb issue of US Lacrosse Magazine. I was asked to photograph Cal Berkeley Women's Lacrosse who had just found out that funding has been cut for their team and they were entering their last year as a varsity squad.
As Easton Lacrosse draws nearer to their product release date, they have hit up Verdict Photography for a few shoots and idears on how to manage their aesthetic. As a photographer / visual idea guy, it is my job to present them with a whole bunch of stuff to look at in order to determine what direction to head visually. Some stuff works, other stuff ends up on the cutting room floor. Here are some examples of some photos that, while pretty cool, got left behind in the editing process.
Recently I was commissioned to shoot some photos for J. Serra High School located out here in the Bay Area. As lacrosse is spreading across the country some schools out west are getting it right. The photo shoot was conceived to gain some attention from it's student athletes for the school's new lacrosse program.
After my stint on the '07 World Team I have decided to take a more back seat roll as the head of media for the 2011 Team headed to Prague....I was recently sent a bunch of product to shoot for the USIL website. After the normal product shots were done I decided to throw some Verdict flair into the shoot...My boy Steve Panarelli tossed me some Flow Society gear and I decided to add it to the shoot as well. I heard that some of these pics might make it to a poster or catalog, but for right now they're yours to enjoy.
