New York, July 19, 2012 – Today Maverik Lacrosse added University of Virginia lacrosse great and Denver attackman Chris Bocklet to its elite roster of lacrosse representatives. While residing in Colorado, Bocklet will play an integral role in representing Maverik Lacrosse at tournaments, camps and clinics in the West. Earlier this month, Bocklet's X10 Mountain Adventure Camp in Granby, Colorado attracted players from across the state including Boulder, Littleton, Parker, Steamboat and Fort Collins. Chris Sanderson, Lacrosse Great Dies from Brain Cancer

Philly - With great sadness, the Philadelphia Wings announced that former Wings coach and player Chris Sanderson passed away today at age 38. Sanderson, who played two seasons for the Wings and served as an assistant coach from 2005 to 2011, passed away after a three-and-a-half year battle with brain cancer. Israel Lacrosse Announces Bonnie Rosen and Peter Friedensohn as Associate Head Coaches

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL -- Israel Lacrosse has announced Bonnie Rosen and Peter Friedensohn as Associate Head Coaches for the women's national team that will compete in the 2012 European Lacrosse Festival in Amsterdam this June. Both Rosen and Friedensohn will also serve in leadership roles with Israel Lacrosse to plan and prepare teams for championship play at the 2013 FIL Women's Lacrosse World Cup in Oshawa, Canada, and the 2015 FIL U-19 Women's World Championship in Edinburgh, Scotland. DENVER - Steele Stanwick scored a career-high six goals and finished with seven points to lead the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers (11-3) to a 10-8 victory over the Penn Quakers (3-10), Friday evening at the Whitman's Sampler Mile High Classic, inside Sports Authority Field and Mile High.
