Two-Part Documentary About Virginia Men’s Lacrosse Debuts May 8 on ESPNU

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – This May, Jalbert Productions and Little Brother of War Entertainment is bringing fans an all-access look into the Virginia men’s lacrosse program in two different 30-minute episodes. “There And Back,” built in the documentary mold of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” debuts on Tuesday, May 8 on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. The second and final 30-minute episode will be televised May 9 on ESPNU in the same 6:30 p.m. time slot. Stanwick Nets 6 Goals, Virginia Men’s Lacrosse Beats Penn, 10-8

DENVER – Steele Stanwick scored a career-high six goals and finished with seven points to lead the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers (11-3) to a 10-8 victory over the Penn Quakers (3-10), Friday evening at the Whitman’s Sampler Mile High Classic, inside Sports Authority Field and Mile High. Duke Visits Virginia Friday for ACC Lacrosse Showdown

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia Cavaliers (10-1, 2-0 ACC) hold the top spot in the nation, ranking No. 1 this week in the USILA coaches and Nike/Inside Lacrosse media polls. UVa returns home to host the Duke Blue Devils (10-3, 1-1 ACC), who are ranked No. 7 in both the coaches and media polls, and winners of seven straight. Faceoff is set for 6 p.m., inside Klöckner Stadium. The winner will claim the regular season ACC title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Championship in Charlottesville. UVa won the Doyle Smith Cup the first five seasons it was awarded before losing it at Homewood Field during a 12-11 setback last season.
