McMinn Makes 22 Saves But VMI Lacrosse Falls 14-8 to Army on the Road



WEST POINT, N.Y. –Despite getting 22 saves from senior netminder Kelly McMinn, the VMI lacrosse team fell to the US Military Academy 14-8 on Saturday afternoon at Michie Stadium. Virginia Military Institutes’s lacrosse team has continually stepped up its presence in the lacrosse world ever since Coach Brian Anken came aboard. He’s increased interest from recruits and fans, alike. The team’s Cascade Pro7 lid inched its way into our scope today. The helmet’s shell is Gold, whereas the decals are Red, which make the Gold Chrome facemask pop.
