ESPNU Lacrosse Fan Fest Coming To Warrior Classic



ESPNU is the home of collegiate lacrosse. In 2012, the 24-hour college sports network will feature 40 regular-season matchups, 37 men’s and three women’s games – including the crowning of six conference champions on ESPNU and ESPN3. The 2012 ESPNU Lacrosse Fan Fest features a competition to determine the best lacrosse “trickster” in Charlotte. The winner of the challenge receives a lacrosse equipment upgrade courtesy of Warrior, ESPNU prizes and a sideline pass for the North Carolina vs. Hofstra game (1:30 p.m. ET). Read More…

ESPNU Warrior Classic Moving To Charlotte

The ESPNU Warrior Classic, a men’s college lacrosse doubleheader, has a new home at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., home of Major League Lacrosse’s Charlotte Hounds. The third annual event will be played Saturday, April 14, and will feature Rutgers vs. No. 7 Syracuse in the first game at 11 a.m. ET, followed by No. 11 Hofstra vs. No. 6 North Carolina at 1:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPNU. ESPNU Lacrosse Tour Coming to ESPNU Warrior Classic



ESPNU is the home of collegiate lacrosse. In 2011, the 24-hour college sports network will feature 31 regular-season matchups, 29 men’s games, two women’s games – as well eight NCAA Men’s Championship games. Syracuse Will Play Rutgers in 2011 ESPNU Warrior Classic



BRISTOL, Conn. – The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team’s 2011 contest against BIG EAST rival Rutgers will be the nightcap of the second annual ESPNU Warrior Classic. ESPNU Warrior Classic, New Lacrosse Event, to Launch in 2010



ESPN Regional Television, Inc., a subsidiary of ESPN, announced today the creation of the ESPNU Warrior Classic, a doubleheader that will be played Saturday, April 24, at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. The doubleheader will feature No. 17 Denver vs. Fairfield at 11 a.m. ET, followed by No. 18 Massachusetts vs. No. 13 Georgetown at 1:30 p.m. Both games will be televised live on ESPNU.
