WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference will grow to 18 NCAA Division II sponsored sports with the addition of women’s lacrosse beginning the spring of 2015. The conference is currently sponsoring its first season of men’s lacrosse. Fried to lead Team USA in gold medal defense in England



Fried will lead Team USA as head coach through the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup in Surrey, England, where the U.S. will seek a third consecutive world title and eighth overall. He led Team USA to a perfect 7-0 mark at the 2013 FIL World Cup in Oshawa, Ontario, where the U.S. outscored its opponents by a record 13.2 goals per game, including a 19-5 victory over Canada in the gold medal game.
