Johns Hopkins Women’s Lacrosse to Compete as an Independent



BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins Director of Athletics Tom Calder announced today that the University’s women’s lacrosse program, currently a member of the American Lacrosse Conference, (ALC), will begin competing as an independent beginning in the 2014 or 2015 season. You are looking at the official uniform for the Dutch National team. The women will be wearing Under Armour unis. Although the colors of the Dutch flag are Red, White and Blue the players and fans wear Orange. Why? Most players and parents don’t realize this, and we see many “tennis racquets” –new or restrung sticks that haven’t been adjusted – in our training sessions.
