Talon introduces two new end caps

Below are two new end caps from Talon, the Ringer (left) and Turtle (right). The image below shows the black version of the end caps but the end caps will also be available in white and brown.

Both end caps were designed to provide players with added torque on passes and shots, with the rubber edge simulating the taped ring many players use at the bottom of their sticks. The Ringer end cap was inspired by more players preferring the taped ring a little higher up from the end of the shaft, giving the feel of a 38″-39” stick, which can result in better stick handling and ball control.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

Wouldn’t the tape job that makes the stick a little shorter slow down your shot and how much does it actually add in ball control?
