Team Jamie Gator Lacrosse T-Shirt

Gator Lacrosse is asking the lacrosse world to purchase a Team Jamie #8 T-shirt to remember an amazing person, friend, teammate, and lacrosse player. Jamie died after a tough battle with Cancer. Jamie Chapin was a team captain his senior year at the University of Florida. Jamie transferred from Florida State and soon became one of the hardest working Gator lacrosse players ever.

Jamie was the ultimate teammate who was always there for you, he dedicated himself to helping others, and he did it all while having fun doing it! The Gators are trying to work with the school to erect a plaque or memorial of some sort in Jamie’s honor. For the time being, the lacrosse team is selling t-shirts in his honor.

Shirts are $25. Purchase a Jamie Gator shirt if you want to help the cause at GatorLacrosse.com.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
