TEAM USO Raises Over $3K for Troops

TEAM USO was developed in response to volunteers looking for new ways to support the troops and their families. As a whole TEAM USO is made up of all kinds of athletes who share a common interest in supporting our troops and their families.

TEAM USO LAX specifically represents a group of extremely proud Americans who have various affiliations with men and women who have valiantly served and currently serve our country. This year with the hopes of raising awareness and funds for the USOs efforts they have decided to compete in two 2011 summer lacrosse tournaments as TEAM USO LAX: WATS (War at the Shore) Tournament and Surf-N-Turf Lacrosse Tournament.

This weekend while participating in their RED/White/Blue uniforms at WATS they hit their fundraising goal of $3,000. In-fact, they have now raised a total of $3,545.00. They look forward to continued awareness and donations in order to support the brave men and women in uniform. To make a donation today visit TeamUSO.org. Every penny makes a difference.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
