Lacrosse Playground had the opportunity to chat with Dave Nelson from The BowNet. The BowNet is a full size portable lacrosse net that assembles in minutes, requires low maintenance and is designed to take anywhere. Below we asked Dave Nelson a few questions about the portable lacrosse net.
What exactly is a BowNet?
Bownet is a company that specializes in portable sports equipment .
When did you decide that bow net can be useful to lacrosse?
It was just a natural progression to take the Bownet’s unique designs for portable goals and equipment over into the Lacrosse Field.
In what way(s) does the bow net enhance ones game?
Not the game, more the practice and camps with the portability of the Goals. When a coach needs another net, or they have to carry several goals in their cars.
Is it difficult to assemble?
No, the goal goes up in 80 Seconds and is stored in a wheeled bag that is 9”x 9” x 50” and the whole thing weighs 25 lbs.
Do you make any other products that compliment the bow net?
This season we came out with the Portable Barrier net for those runaway balls, which measures 21.5’ x 11.6’ and sets up in 80 Secs.
Along with the Barrier we also launched the Portable Crease with a set up time of 30 secs. This is an ideal solution when the coach can’t paint the field or needs to run the practice indoors.
Why should one use a bow net?
When it comes too a small portable package, there really is nothing else.
