WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army lacrosse fans around the country will have the opportunity to watch the Black Knights at least three times this spring. Thanks in large part to an extensive Patriot League television package, the highly anticipated 95th meeting between Army and Navy at Michie Stadium, along with the Black Knights’ visit to defending champion Bucknell, will air live on CBS Sports Network. In addition, Army’s regular-season finale at Johns Hopkins will be carried to a national audience on ESPNU.

“Being on national television three more times this year is a great testament to the Patriot League as well as the Army lacrosse program.” said head coach Joe Albeici, who enters his seventh season at Army. “The team is excited about the exposure. It’s great not only for the program, but for this institution as well.”

The Patriot League’s television package will feature five regular-season men’s lacrosse games in all. The CBS Sports Network will also carry the 2012 Patriot League Tournament in its entirety, which is set to take place April 27 and 29 at the site of the highest seed.

In addition to the national exposure, the Black Knights’ Feb. 26 meeting at preseason No. 1 Syracuse will air regionally on Time Warner Cable and SportsNet New York.

Army gets the 2012 season underway in less than a month and will play its first three games at home. The Black Knights open the season against preseason No. 18 Massachusetts on Friday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m.

Tickets for the 2012 lacrosse season, which features seven home games, can be purchase online at www.goARMYsports.com, by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY or by visiting the Army Ticket Office located inside the Holleder Center.
