Titans Looking for Local Partners To Keep Team In Orlando

Orlando, FL — August 4, 2010 — The Orlando Titans of the National Lacrosse League today confirmed that it will not field a team for the 2011 season. Titans majority owner Gary Rosenbach and team officials have already begun the ownership restructuring process and are actively looking for minority investors from the Orlando and Tampa area to help keep the team in the city.

“After much deliberation and careful analysis we felt that it was in the best interest of everyone involved to take a year off and come back in 2012 with a more financially fit and competitive franchise,” said Rosenbach. “It is pretty simple, in order for us to field a winning organization on the field we need to refocus our efforts on rebuilding the business side of our house.”
