Top Coaches From All NCAA Divisions To Attend Trilogy Lacrosse Certified Events In 2013

Recognizing the difficult task facing college coaches during the short and busy summer, Trilogy Lacrosse has created two Events that will ensure players get the exposure they deserve. The Trilogy Certified Events are true invitation-only camps where the full-time Trilogy staff of former college coaches and educators will individually qualify each player prior to attendance. The Certified Events provide selected students with exposure to the schools that fit their athletic and academic profiles, with the High School Aces East for top tier lacrosse players and the Academic Aces for top players who also have strong academic marks. These are high-end events for top players and students nationally.

The benefit to the players and coaches involved remains constant – matching the right player qualifications with the best possible next level opportunity. They are the best exposure opportunities possible for a player who aspires to play at the highest level academically and athletically. The Aces events will be premier recruiting stops on the college coaches’ summer circuit.

Trilogy Lacrosse Director of Club Programs Jim Stagnitta will spearhead each of the 3-day events.

“The early response from the college coaches to the Certified Events has been great. As a former college coach with 25 years recruiting experience at the D1 and D3 level, these camps truly provide exposure for players to the institutions that meet their academic and athletic profiles.” Stagnitta continued, “The fact that the players have been qualified on both criteria helps coaches maximize their recruiting efforts without wasting anyone’s time. This is illustrated by the commitments from Ivy League, NESCAC and Patriot League colleges to not only attend the events, but also per NCAA rules, provide staff from the D3 ranks. This list continues to grow each week.”

Colleges like Brown, Cornell, Princeton and the Naval Academy will be in attendance at both events, providing top tier Division 1 exposure for the players involved. Institutions like W&L, Bowdoin, Haverford and RPI will allow players with top D3 aspirations who also value prestigious educational traditions, a chance to be evaluated. Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
