Traditional Strings Gets Ready for Back to School

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Traditional Strings and their excellent programs like stick donation. As a company trying to grow the game, they’re trying to strike a balance between gear and reaching the actual game of lacrosse to people who may not have gotten involved in it otherwise. Now, they’re relaunching their shirt line with 2 new seersucker colors that will be available August 20th through their site, and for fans of theirs on Facebook, they’re giving 2 of these brand spankin’ new tees away. (When they reach 2000 fans, so LIKE them here!) A company that puts their money where their mouth is, they’ve already donated 6 sticks to underprivileged programs and that donation meter on the front page of the site always seems to be climbing. So for those of you interested in getting gear for back to school and helping out programs in need, I highly suggest you check out the new swag over at Tslax.com.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
