Travis Reed Discusses Music and the Maryland vs. Hopkins Rivalry

This week’s pregame playlist is provided by Maryland’s Travis Reed. If you didn’t already know, Reed is a gregarious and prodigious music aficionado.

Like the majority of great players, Reed uses music to get him fired up for games. However, the game this week is more than a game. It’s the Maryland vs. Johns Hopkins game! These teams have met over a hundred times. It’s been stated as one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports.

When asked about the rivalry, Reed said,

“There’s not much to say besides the fact that it’s Hopkins week. I was born and raised as a Terp and I can always remember how much my pops hated the Hopkins goal chant and I’ve always hated it ever since. All I know is that this team is gonna give it everything we’ve got to get the W. It can’t really be put in words.”

The game will be played this Saturday at M & T Bank Stadium. Get fired up in the parking lot to Reed’s playlist.
