Trilogy Lacrosse Swag Unveiling and Sendoff Shindig

Our good friends over at Trilogy Lacrosse recently asked us to come to a get-together at their NYC office to unveil their new apparel, check out the office, and send off US Indoor Team member Mitch Belisle (shown here using one of the hanging disposable cameras, provided so everyone could document the party!).

Hi Mitch!

I made my way down, and can say with complete and utter seriousness: Trilogy knows how to throw a party. A good time was had by all, the gear is very cool, and there was even an oversized tricycle being driven around the halls by various guests (and, in this picture, staffer Ned Crotty!). Awesome, and very indicative of the fun attitude that the Trilogy guys bring to their work in lacrosse.

Whether they’re running one of their camps or discussing any of the pro leagues that they’re involved in (they’re boasting four current MLL careers among them!), they’re so enthusiastic about the sport, it’s infectious. Founder and CEO Ryan Boyle said of the event, “What we were trying to accomplish was to get people to the office, to see the space, and to showcase our new line of apparel. For a lot of people, like friends and family, they want to get involved, but they’re not really going to instructional events or being a part of our select team, so this is something they can do. The apparel is really an extension of all of our personalities and a way for people to support the brand. We also wanted to send off Mitch, have him see loved ones before we sent him off to the World Championships.”

So, now that the gear has officially been unveiled, you can all join in and support the Trilogy brand by rocking any of their stuff (all of which can be found at the online store!), which includes tees, hats, flip flops, bags and polos. It’s casual fare that is a great way to show your Trilogy pride at all of your upcoming summer events. They’re also on Facebook and Twitter (@TrilogyLax), so “Like” them and Follow them to see all of the new stuff they have coming up!!

I’m Sammie, and am not A “lax babe”, I’m THE “lax babe”. My first big-girl crush was on a laxer, who let’s just say is still on the field (and in the box) today, and it’s only expanded from there. I live and work around bros, who I love and could hang out with all day every day. One could really even call me a “bro in babe’s clothing”. While lax is (with a bullet) my favorite sport, it’s not the only one I follow, growing up a diehard NY Giants/Yankees fan. If all I had was YouTube clips of MLL skills championships, my aviators, my Ipod, Summer days, pinneys, and laxers, I’d be one happy chick. Follow me on Twitter, @marilynmonbro.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
