True Temper Announces New Director of Lacrosse Products

MEMPHIS, TENN.  (September 12, 2014) – True Temper Sports, a global sporting goods leader, announced today the hire of Jerry Scott as Director of Lacrosse products.

Scott joins True Temper from Lax World, one of the largest lacrosse retailers in the U.S., where he last served in the role of general manager. He was instrumental in growing Lax World into a multi-million dollar and multi-storefront operation and brings more than 20 years of industry experience in operations, business development, sales and marketing to his new role with True Temper.

As Director of Lacrosse products, Scott will have oversight for the strategic planning, product direction and expansion of True Temper’s lacrosse division throughout North America.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from Towson University in Baltimore, Md. He has been involved in numerous industry and volunteer organizations throughout his career, including the Lacrosse Industry Council.
