United Lacrosse and Top Dog Lacrosse are proud to announce their programs are joining forces and will hold tryouts for Team United Albany. This summer, Team United New Jersey, Team United New York as well as Team United Albany will be competing in four summer tournaments.
United Lacrosse directors Steve Carcaterra and Ric Beardsley have entered into a partnership with UAlbany coach Scott Marr and his Top Dog Lacrosse club. Carcaterra, Beardsley and Marr are all Yorktown, NY, natives and former Division I players.
“This is one of those full circle moments for us,” Carcaterra said. “Growing up, Ric and I looked up to Scotty as a mentor and coach. To be joining him in an effort to bring the Team United philosophy and guidance to players in the Albany area is a great honor and we are very fired up to get to work.”
The Top Dog players in and around the Albany area have been extremely fortunate to be coached by D1 coaches and of course that will continue. Carcaterra and Beardsley expressed excitement to be working with Marr and his UAlbany staff, including Liam Gleason, Eric Wolf and Donny Shea.
Players from all towns and programs in the Albany area are encouraged to attend the Team United Albany Tryouts on January 21st.

Grades 9th-11th 10:30am-12pm
