Whipple Lacrosse, the camp network for the University of Tampa Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Rory Whipple, has announced camp programing for the fall and winter seasons. The organization that focuses on the development of lacrosse skill level in boys of all ages runs camps and clinics for local and national high school and youth campers.

This fall, Whipple Lacrosse will hold two major programs. On October 14th, the University of Tampa will be the host site for the Fall Mini Camp, which is a program open to all boys in grades 9-12 and will included a simulated Tampa Spartans lacrosse practice in the morning session followed by an afternoon game session. Starting on Sunday mornings at the end of October, Whipple Lacrosse will hold a four part skill series at UT. The Shooting, Goalie, and Defense Skill Clubs are designed to teach fundamental and advanced skills in each position. An option for campers is the Tampa Black Level which includes the Cyber Coach option. A system of video coaching sessions designed to exponentially increase each players learning curve.

In addition, Whipple Lacrosse has included the addition of the Tampa Holiday Camp to its programming agenda. The Holiday Camp will have a Youth program (grades 3-8) and a High School Program (grades 9-12) and is a clinic style teaching camp that will feature coaches from the best DI, DII, and DIII lacrosse programs in the nation.

“Our goal is to integrate our camp programming with the Tampa area High School and Club coaches in a way that supports area lacrosse skill advancement and complements the continues efforts of everyone committed to growing lacrosse in the Tampa Bay area,” noted Tampa Head Lacrosse Coach Rory Whipple. “We also have a great platform to bring college level coaching to the growing population of lacrosse players in the Tampa Bay area with the addition of the Holiday Camp.”
