US Lacrosse Central Championships Friday Through Sunday in Madison, Wis.

BALTIMORE, June 15, 2015 — The fifth annual US Lacrosse Central Championships bring youth lacrosse teams from four states to Reddan Soccer Park in Verona, Wis., Friday through Sunday. The tournament, run by the national governing body of lacrosse, features girls’ teams in the U13 and U15 age groups.

Each division gets underway with pool-play games. Based on pool-play results, teams will be seeded and proceed through a bracket until a champion is crowned. Admission to all games is free of charge.

In the U15 division, the #RoadToRichmond continues as the semifinalists will earn automatic bids with free or discounted registration to the seventh annual US Lacrosse U15 National Championships July 23-26 in Richmond, Va. Teams from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin are competing in the Central Championships.

Championship teams will receive medals. US Lacrosse will name a “Keeper of Lacrosse” Sportsmanship Award winner for the event.
