Verdict Digital Fundraiser: ‘Zach on Crutches’ Tee Shirt

You may not have ever met Zach Heffner, but you know him through his work. Whether it be his photo and video work for Easton Lacrosse, US Lacrosse Magazine Cover Shots, editorial shots for Lacrosse Magazine or his playing years: National Champion at UVA, a pro player in the MLL, NLL or his stint on the Bronze Medal winning 2007 US National Indoor Team, somewhere you’ve come into contact with him or his work…and he needs your help!

In the process of training for a possible LXM comeback, Zach suffered a devastating injury to his knee early this June while playing lacrosse. Needing major surgery to reconstruct his ACL, MCL, PCL and both meniscus, Zach went under the knife for a pretty routine procedure.

In the following weeks, a still unidentified infection forced Zach back under the knife 3 more times and put a definite end to his athletic career and also threatened to close the doors of his company, Verdict Digital.

Without being able to work and with the medical bills piling up, Zach and the Verdict Crew are reaching out to the lacrosse community for help. Before they shut down Zach’s company, the Verdict Crew is hoping to raise enough money to pay off his medical bills from the extra surgeries so they can keep on helping lacrosse gain exposure through their work.

Paying homage to Zach’s first words once the anesthesia wore off, the Verdict Crew designed a tee-shirt with Zach’s likeness (a la crutches) to help raise the money necessary to pay off all the bills.

Printed on super comfy rolled cotton, these tee-shirts are available on the Verdict Store for 15.99 plus S&H. 100% of the proceeds are dedicated to paying off Zach’s medical bills so the Verdict Crew can keep on helping the sport of lacrosse grow and gain exposure.

Just specifiy what size (S,M,L,XL) in the ‘instructions for buyer’ section upon check out.

More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
