Warrior Lacrosse Unleashes COBRA, COBRA X

Warrior has released a new head, COBRA. If you are wondering if the name COBRA sounds familiar then you are not mistaken. The original COBRA was the first head from Warrior. The new version of the COBRA obviously doesn’t have that much in common with the original, but it does have a little of the curved sidewall offset shape and that is what lead Warrior back down the path of the COBRA.

The head will be legal for all levels of play with the X Spec and the Traditional Spec which is only legal for NFHS/Youth.

The head has all the features a player looks for in a head. For instance, there is a new raised ball stop which helps prevent the ball from being dislodged from the pocket. The head also carries an ultra light weight sidewall design that emphasizes stiffness in the bottom section of the head where the most amount of flex occurs in a head.

The reinforced throat is designed for targeted stiffness and enhanced control. Another cool part to the COBRA is the patented insert mold. The mold has allowed Warrior to create a 2 tone color hit for a completely unique and customized look.

The head comes in White, Red, Green, Royal, Light Blue, Orange and Black.

I remember the original Cobra. It broke the day I got it, :(. Does anyone still own one?! I’ll buy it!

The Cobra was one of Warrior’s original head names, along with Diablo and Predator!
