1 Lacrosse + Wales Official Shaft

1 Lacrosse, the premier manufacturer of custom lacrosse shafts, is proud to be supplying The Welsh National Men’s Team with their own custom designed shaft! Using our Pride Design, the Welsh incorporated their traditional team logo to have the perfect shaft for their program.

Under the direction of Head Coach Jason Perrin, the Welsh National Team is gearing up for the 2010 FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Manchester, England where they will compete among 30 of the World’s top teams. “It’s unbelievable” says Perrin, “Lacrosse in Wales is still growing and the talent pool has been bigger than ever. Since the 2008 European Championships, the structured and determined approach adopted is now beginning to show results. Wales are better prepared for this tournament then we have been in the past and the results this summer will prove that to the rest of the World”

As the game of lacrosse is growing in Wales, 1 Lacrosse is proud to be contributing to its success and wish the National Team the best at the upcoming World Games.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
