2012 Maverik Rome Goalie Gloves

We have a first look at the prototype Rome goalie glove for Maverik. Set to drop in 2012 (possibly Fall ’11) this glove exhibits high levels of contruction, stitching, padding and comfort. The glove shown below is Royal with White down the middle fingers. The palm is high-grade leather including shark skin along the bottom corner. The outer layer above the cuff features X foam which absorbs the shock of a shot. The thumb is heavily padded and reinforced with a Torque shield. View the upclose images of the glove below.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

I have actually had the chance to try these out last week and can say that after all of my experiences playing, stringing (traditional of course;), and testing equipment for the past 20 years of my life, these are the best gloves to innovate and hit the market in 20 years.  They feel like you are wearing a batting glove that can breathe.  There are no hype in these… they will be the new standard to one day become a classic.
I do not work, or am I endorsed by Maverik in anyway as all of my comments are my own.
