2023 UNC Commit Brett Koopman Scored a Pole Goal No Pole Has Scored Before

What is going on?

These kids are so good.

Not only has no pole scored like this before, there are short sticks who haven’t scored like this before.

Short sticks who have spent years training to score goals haven’t scored goals like this before.

Hopefully you saw it when it happened last summer.

We thought UNC fans could use a palette cleanser after last night’s game at home against Virginia.

He gets the defender to reach, then flips his hips to execute the answer move, and rips it far pipe and in.

Come on.

As the title states, Koopman is taking his talents to Chapel Hill in two years.

He is ranked as our 4th best LSM and 39th overall 2023 in the country:

Koopman has a nonstop motor with blazing speed. More than a few of our evaluators compared his game to Matt Wright at UNC.

You can watch more of his summer highlights here. The wide angle view of the goal is the first clip.

I absolutely loved watching Mad Dog National play this summer and can’t wait to see them again.
