2nd Annual Boston Autumn Lacrosse Classic

Brookline, MA- The Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse team will be hosting the 2nd Annual Boston Autumn Classic this Saturday November 17th at Parsons Field in Brookline, MA. Along with Northeastern, the other teams in attendance, all representing the PCLL will be Boston College, Boston University, and the University of New Hampshire. In one of the last MCLA scrimmages of the 2012 fall season, this is sure to be a great day for lacrosse in New England.

This has been an event that we have had marked in our calendars for sometime now and there is a lot of excitement going into this weekend. Our players are focused and understand that we are playing conference opponents. In a city and region that has some of the most storied rivalries in all of college sports we are not taking this lightly and I’m confident the other coaches have this same mentality. With all that being said, we have no doubts that this is going to be a great day of lacrosse with some of the best MCLA teams in the region competing against one another.

Alumni, families, and local area high school and youth players are all encouraged to attend the games. Parking is limited. The nearest public t-station is Riverside on the Green Line.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
